Two of my most favorite parts of building an airplane are picking the paint scheme and planning the panel. I use a software program called XPanel. You can download the program here Xpanel 5000. Or you can use their Online XPanel Software for free. Here is my first attempt at planning the Coyote’s panel. What do you think?
Hi,
I’ve been following your blog for a little bit now. Love the site you made. I must have the same sort of taste for things that I do. I like the panel very simple to the point only the things you need.
I agree completely. I’m not building a spaceship. Just need the mandatory dials and GPS. I want this plane to be a no-brainer. Just jump in and go!
I also like the simple panel.More fun flying and less time scanning gauges. I noticed your mounting for the compass. I have mine there also, and it doesn’t level very well. I needed to make a wedge to mount it on to make it level in flight.
